Tyrannosaurus Rex
Tyrannosaurus rex is one of the most iconic dinosaurs and the largest terrestrial carnivore ever found; some estimates even push 10+ tons. Truly a king of the Hell Creek Formation.
Hell Creek was a lush floodplain, in what is now Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming, during the Late Cretaceous period, from 68 to 66 million years ago. Life was flourishing in this region, and T. rex thus had a perfect hunting ground. The discovery of numerous fossils in Hell Creek has earned scientists a goldmine of information about this mighty predator and his environment.
The T. rex was introduced to the game The Time Forgotten as a class in their rock-paper-scissors balancing system called "Apex."
To this day, the T. rex instills fear in any player who encounters it within the game, truly living up to its historical reputation as the most fearsome of all predators.
The "Apex" class means that, through sheer force alone, T. rex would be the most overpowering and thus an element to be reckoned with by players.
